BROKEN PROMISES LEAVE WESTERN AUSTRALIANS WAITING FOR THE REAL NBN
Shadow Minister for Communications Jason Clare at the request of Senator Glenn Sterle visited Wattle Grove last week to hear from Western Australians who have poor access to the Internet yet still have no idea when Malcolm Turnbull’s second rate NBN will get to them.
Mr Clare visited the home of Alethea Raspa to discuss the rollout of the NBN and the importance of world class broadband to Western Australians.
Residents in Wattle Grove have been left off the rollout map by Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull despite the fact that internet quality across Perth’s Eastern Suburbs is poor.
Rubbing salt into the wound, these residents and businesses will miss out on the real NBN and will instead have to rely on a second rate old copper system.
The Abbott Government has not just broken the promises they made on education, health and pensions. They have also broken their promises on the NBN.
Before the election Tony Abbott promised that all Western Australians would have access to the NBN by the end of 2016. They admitted at the end of 2013 that they would be breaking this promise.
All Western Australians have gotten from Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull and the WA Liberal team are lies and broken promises. Western Australians deserve better.
